Architectural Metalwork FAQs (Dubai)
Finesse turns custom metalwork ideas into finished pieces. From sketch to installed product, we design and fabricate decorative screens, laser-cut panels, ornamental gates, staircases, balustrades, signage, and interior accent pieces for villas, hotels, restaurants, retail fit-outs, and developer showrooms across Dubai. We do not produce sculptures.

We do not make sculptures or work with timber.
Can you work from a sketch, photo, or reference image?
Yes. Send us anything you have: a hand sketch, a photo, a reference image you saved, a Pinterest board, an interior designer's mood board, or a CAD file. Our design team works your concept up into a proper shop drawing, with material and finish recommendations, and a 3D visualisation for larger pieces. Nothing goes to fabrication until you sign off the drawing.
What materials and finishes do you offer?
Materials:
- Mild steel (most economical, widely used)
- Stainless steel 304 and 316 (low maintenance, modern look)
- Aluminium (lightweight panels and screens)
- Corten weathering steel for that natural rust patina
- Brass and copper (decorative features and accents)
We do not work with gold or timber.
Finishes:
- Powder coating in any RAL colour (matt, satin, gloss, textured)
- Hot-dip galvanizing for outdoor durability
- Mirror polish, hairline brush, or bead-blast finishes on stainless
- Electroplating (gold, rose gold, black chrome, antique brass)
- Patina, antique, and hand-applied finishes
- Faux wood, faux marble printed coatings
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time depends on size, complexity, and finish:
- Small to medium pieces (signage, single screen, railings): 2 to 4 weeks
- Larger feature pieces (full staircase, multi-panel screens, ornamental gates): 4 to 8 weeks
- Site-installed projects with multiple finishes: 6 to 10 weeks
Drawing approval, finish samples, and any installation site visits are part of the timeline. Rush turnaround is possible for smaller urgent pieces.
Is installation included?
Yes. We deliver and install across Dubai and the wider UAE. For interior pieces we coordinate with your interior designer or contractor so the installation slots into the broader fit-out schedule without damaging finished surfaces. For outdoor pieces we manage site access, lifting, anchoring, and final clean-up.
